Charley Frank Robinette

The funeral for Chuck Robinette, age 69, of Waukomis, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Donaldson and Rev. Kevin Copenhaver will officiate.

Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery under direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation with family will be 5-6:30 Monday evening at the funeral home.

Chuck was born June 5, 1945, to Frank I. and Ellen Nadean (Franke) Robinette, in Enid, and passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at his home.

Chuck graduated from Pioneer High School in 1963, attended Oklahoma State University and graduated from Phillips University in 1972. He joined the United States Marines and served during Vietnam.

On Jan. 29, 1965, he married Cheryl Lynne Felix in Douglas Christian Union Church, and born to this marriage were two sons, Brian Wade Robinette and Justin Michael Robinette.

After returning from the service, Chuck farmed in the Pioneer community. Chuck was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Union Church, for which he served as first elder for many years. He enjoyed going to car shows with friends and family in his ’34 Chevy street rod.

The apples of his eye were his granddaughters, Paige and Morgan Robinette.

Chuck loved his God, family, cars, ice cream, and seeing the straight rows of wheat.

Chuck is survived by his wife Cheryl; two sons, Brian Robinette and Justin and wife Rebecca Robinette, all of Waukomis; two granddaughters, Paige and Morgan; four sisters, Saralin Mitchell and Chuck, Kandice O’Hern, Arlene Roberts and Gary, and Maryl Willard and Sam.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Christian Union Church or Hospice Circle of Love. Guestbook is available at www.andersonburris.com.
