Funeral services for Martha E. Osburn, 58, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Carol Coulter will officiate. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery . Services are under the direction of Hen-ninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Martha was born in Enid on January 6, 1951, to James and Rosella (Kitchen) McDevitt and passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009, at her home in Enid from a lengthy illness. She graduated from Waukomis High School in 1969 and from Enid Business College in 1971. She worked in the customer service field all her life with her last job being at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

In 1973, Martha married Dwight Phillips and together had a son, Chad Phillips, her only child. She then married Arlan Osburn in 1999 and from that marriage had four stepsons, Julian, Arlan Jr., Nicky and Cory Osburn.

Martha cherished her family and enjoyed being around them. She loved going to the lake to spend time. She will be missed by all of her family and friends who adored her sense of humor and generosity. Her family could always count on her to be there when needed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Martha is survived by her husband, Arlan of the home; son, Chad Phillips and wife, Sonya, and their children, Parker and Hailey; brother, George McDevitt and wife, Sandi, and their children, Kelly, Brandy and Jeremy; sister, Penney Spoonemore and husband, Dean, and their children, Travis and Dustin; brother, Art McDevitt and wife, Pat, and their children Carol and Brian; sister, Thelma Prater and husband, Ron; stepson, Julian Osburn and wife, Lisa, and their children, as well as stepsons Arlan Jr., Nicky and Cory.

Memorials may be made in Martha's name to the funeral home.
