Leonard Nusz, age 93, passed away June 3, 2021. Graveside service will be held at the Waukomis Cemetery, Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dave Jones officiating.

Leonard was born to Harry and Elizabeth (Brickman) Nusz on July 20, 1927, in Garfield County and passed away at the Clinton Veterans Center in Clinton, OK.

Leonard was a longtime resident of Okeene, OK, operating an auto-body shop, farming and custom harvesting business. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving 1950-52. He was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church in Okeene and in later years attended the Christian Church in Waukomis, OK.

Leonard is survived by wife Geraldine "Jerri" (Thompson) Nusz of Okeene, OK; two daughters, Sherry O'Mara of Wichita, KS, and Cindy Hickerson (Tim) of Enid, OK; one son, Rick Nusz (Christy) of Shawnee, KS; sister, Betty (Nusz) Johnson of Enid, OK; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Virgil Nusz.
