August 28, 1941 - October 5, 2020

Celebration of Life Service for Carl F Miller, 79, will be 1:30 p.m. Oct. 17, 2020, in Enid Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Asher Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Carl was born on Aug. 28, 1941, in Harper, Kan., to Carlton and Winifred Patterson Miller and died on Oct. 5, 2020, in Enid, Okla.

Carl graduated from Derby High School in Derby, Kan. He served his country in the U.S. Army and later the Army Reserve for a total of 23 years and 9 months. On Oct. 22, 1982, Carl and Bevelyn "B" Schenck remarried. Carl worked for several years at Northrup managing the Vance Bowling Center for 25 years. He was on several bowling leagues and softball teams and was very good. He also coached and umpired for children's leagues. After retiring, he loved traveling in the motorhome before coming back to Enid.

Carl's faith was very important to him. Throughout the years he served in the AWANA'S and enjoyed Sunday school and small group meetings. He was currently attending Enid Mennonite Brethren church. He loved his family and was proud of his children and many grandchildren.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents and only brother.

He is survived by his wife: "B" Miller; three daughters, Deborah Bolling, Windermere Fla., Camellia Coray, Monument, Colo., and Michelle Janzen, Kremlin, Okla.: 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren with number 13 on the way.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude's.
