Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 PM Sunday at Brown Funeral Home for Bill Milacek, 54, Waukomis. Services will be at 9:30 AM Monday at St. Francis Xavier Church with Rev. Robert Kropp officiating. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery.

Milacek was found dead in a field Friday afternoon by two of his brothers. His tractor was found stuck in the field some 1000 feet from the body. He had apparently begun walking back to his pickup when he suffered a heart attack.

He was born and reared in the Waukomis community, attended school at Pleasant Hill School southwest of Waukomis and was a farmer in the Waukomis and Bison communities.

He is survived by his widow, Beatrice of the home; two daughters, Miss Desdive Milacek, Enid, and Vanessa Milacek of the home; three sons, Bill Gene, Danny and Edwin all of the home; two brothers, Jerry and Charlie, both of Waukomis; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Benda of Drummond.

Memorials in his honor may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation with the funeral home acting as custodians.

Mass of Christian burial for Beatrice Milacek, 94, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church with Father Larry Kowalski officiating. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Recital of the Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. today, Nov. 21, 2008, at the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Crispo, deacon, officiating. Following the Rosary, the family will receive friends until 9 p.m. at the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Mrs. Milacek was born on May 5, 1914, in Hennessey, OK, the daughter of John and Frances Vaverka Jankey and died early Wednesday morning, Nov. 19, 2008, at the Living Center.

She graduated from Hennessey High School and received her teaching certificate from Edmond State College. She taught at Pleasant Hill School, a one-room schoolhouse northeast of Hennessey. She married William Milacek in Hennessey on Sept. 24, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Milacek was a member of St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church.

She is survived by children, Desdive Milacek and Gary Johnson of Enid, Danny and Linda Milacek of Waukomis , Vanessa and Shawn Fuksa of Enid; grandchildren, Stephanie and Bill Kilmer, Meridith and Diego Solorio, Bethanie and Jeff Williams, Daniel and Kara Milacek and Hannah and Mandi Fuksa; great-grandchildren, Ian Kilmer, Elizabeth and Thomas Soloria, Ava Grace and Broox Milacek, J.J. and Dylan Williams; sister, Lillian Maris of Nashua, New Hampshire.

In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by sons, Billy Gene and Eddie Milacek, great-grandson, Liam Kilmer.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Milacek's memory to Ross Health Care Hospice or Pioneer School Foundation with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund.
