Mrs. Ella F. McLanahan, 95, 206 W. State died in a local hospital Sunday afternoon following an illness of several months. She was born in Morrill, Kansas and came to Oklahoma in 1903 shortly after her marriage to J. E. McLanahan. They farmed southwest of Waukomis. McLanahan preceded her in death in 1927. She was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter. She moved to Enid in 1943 where she made her home until her death. Mrs. McLanahan was a member of the O. E. S. Waukomis Chapter No. 63.

Survivors include two sons, Ruben, Waukomis and Wesley, Enid; two sisters, Mrs. Shelton Harris, Falls City, Nebraska, and Mrs. Mollie Sweezy, Horton, Kansas; one brother, Frank McKim, California; five grandchildren and four great – grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM today at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hugh Collett officiating. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
