Obituary
Mrs. Maggie, wife of T.T. Maxson, closed her eyes in death at her home in Drummond, Okla., Thursday, September 17, 1908, aged 30 years, 8 months and 28 days, after an illness of several months of that dreaded disease consumption.
Miss Maggie Chappel was born in Louis county, Missouri, December 19, 1877, where she grew to womanhood.
On June 30,1895, she was united in marriage to T.T. Maxson in Clark county, Missouri, where they lived until 1898 when they moved to Oklahoma, locating at Waukomis where they lived until 1905, when they moved to Drummond. To this union were born five children, two boys who died in infancy and three girls who are left to mourn for mother.
At the age of 16 she joined the Baptist church and remained a member of that church until two years ago when she united with the Congregational church at this place, remaining a faithful member until she was called away.
She leaves a husband, three little daughters, mother, four brothers and four sisters to mourn her.
The bereaved relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
