April 19, 1952 - April 4, 2022

A Celebration of Life service Tina Claire (Atkins) Moravec, age 69, of Waukomis, Oklahoma, will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Ladusau-Evans Chapel in Enid, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life service will be on Good Friday, April 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Hooker, Oklahoma. Arrangements and Cremation are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Tina passed away peacefully with her family near her side on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma. She was born on April 19, 1952, in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of James Clair and Myrtle Faye (Stell) Atkins.

A 1970 Hooker High School graduate, Tina grew up in Hooker, Oklahoma, before attending Enid Beauty School and receiving her certification as a hairdresser in 1971. She returned to Hooker and operated her own business, "Headquarters," until 1995. Tina was a natural at hairdressing, practicing on many of her classmates and family members while she was a high school student. During her 24 years of business operation, Tina developed many lifelong relationships with her "clients," who are more adequately referred to as her friends. While in Hooker, Tina was married to Mike Hofferber, and together they had two sons, Eric and Nicholas. In 1994, Tina moved to Enid, Oklahoma, and continued her hairdressing career for several years. She married Ron Moravec in 1995, and together for the past 27 years, Tina and Ron have resided in Waukomis, Oklahoma, sharing a blended family of four sons and one daughter, their spouses and children. In her final working years, Tina transitioned from a hairdresser to a caregiver for the elderly before major back surgery forced her into retirement. She very much enjoyed the relationships built with the individuals in her care.

Her grandchildren became the light of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. She will be remembered by friends and relatives as a caring daughter, loving mother, wife and grandmother, beautiful sister, and loyal classmate. The family offers special gratitude for her 1970 classmates, and her very special friends.

Tina is survived by her husband, Ron Moravec of Waukomis, Oklahoma, sons, Eric Hofferber and wife Laura of Enid, Oklahoma, Nicholas Hofferber of Hooker, Oklahoma, Mike Moravec and wife Ashley of Minneola, Texas, Jake Moravec of Cherokee, Oklahoma, and daughter Adria Warren and husband Brian of Commerce, Texas; grandchildren Rylyn, Jhett, and Vivian Hofferber, of Enid, Oklahoma, Riott Moravec of Minneola, Texas, and Reagan Warren of Commerce, Texas; two sisters, Billie Beall and husband Jim of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Linda Kerr of Hennessey, Oklahoma, three brothers, Dennis Atkins and wife Rhonda of Hooker, Oklahoma, Mike Atkins of Salina, Kansas, and Pat Atkins of Hooker, Oklahoma, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends as well.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, James Clair and Myrtle Atkins, granddaughters, Hayley Jae and Josie Rae, and in-laws Ernest and Willa Dean Moravec.
