Waukomis – A Wake Bible Service for Joseph Krejci, 91, will be at 7:30 PM today in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home and Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Bison with Rev. Jerome Talloen officiating. Burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery.

He died Sunday in a local hospital following a period of ill health.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; three sons, Joe E., Oklahoma City, Adolph and Lewis, both of Waukomis; two daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Marcella) Markes, Bison, and Mrs. Ralph (Lillian) Meier, Waukomis; 18 grandchildren and 10 great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and one grandchild.

Mrs. Mary Krejci, 87, formerly of Waukomis, died in an Enid hospital Tuesday morning after a short illness.

Mrs. Krejci was born in Czechoslovakia and came as an infant with her parents to a farm in the Bison – Waukomis area where she spent most of the remainder of her life.

She and Joseph Krejci were married May 17, 1909. Her husband died September 12, 1976. Mrs. Krejci was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Bison.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Marcella) Markes, Bison, and Mrs. Ralph (Lillian) Meier, Waukomis; three sons, Lewis Krejci and Adolph Krejci, both of Waukomis and Joe Krejci, Oklahoma City; 18 grandchildren; 14 great – grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Evers of Sterling, Colorado. Four sisters and three brothers died earlier.

Wake services for Mrs. Krejci will be at 7:30 PM Thursday in the Chapel of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church at Bison with the Rev. Jerome G. Talloen as celebrant. Mrs. Krejci will be buried in the Waukomis Cemetery.
