Waukomis Cemetery


ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Lewis Krejci, 94, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Pastor Tommy Donaldson officiating. Interment will follow in Waukomis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Lewis was born Oct. 2, 1917, in Waukomis, Okla., the son of Joseph and Mary Schovanec Krejci and passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.

He attended Pioneer School.

He was united in marriage to Evelyn Martin Jan. 8, 1939, in Wellston, Okla. She preceded him in death Jan. 8, 2011.

Mr. Krejci farmed most of his life in the Waukomis area. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and many other capacities. He loved to go fishing and spend time in Branson, Mo., camping.

Survivors include two daughters, Kayleen Davis and husband Britt of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Kym Sartin and husband Jim of Morrison, Okla.; son, Randall Krejci and wife Karen of Palatine, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marcella Markes of Bison, Okla., and Lillian Smith of Enid, Okla.; and one brother, Adolph Krejci of Enid, Okla.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Darla Marlene, and one brother, Joe.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church or Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
