Waukomis Cemetery


The funeral for Scott R. Isbell, 51, will be at 2 PM Saturday at the Waukomis Christian Church. The Rev. Paul D. Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery under direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

The casket will remain closed after the service.

A native of Waukomis, he was born November 10, 1941, to Dea and Dorothy Mylar Isbell and died Wednesday, February 10, 1993, at his home in Waukomis. After graduating from Waukomis High School in 1959, he attended Enid Business College.

On November 21, 1962, he married Ramona Reeves. They lived west of Waukomis. He was county director of the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service for several years before retirement due to ill health. He was a member of Waukomis Christian Church, the Waukomis Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Lane Dae Isbell of the home; his mother, Dorothy Isbell of Waukomis; and one brother, Lonie of Waukomis.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love or to the Waukomis Christian Church Building Fund.
