Waukomis Cemetery


The funeral for Shirley Marie Isbell, 60, will be at 10 AM Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home, Enid. The Rev. Paul Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery.

She was born August 18, 1934, in Tonkawa to Ambrose and Marie Hill Morrison and died Sunday, February 26, 1995, at Highland Park Manor. At the age of five, she moved with the family to Enid where she attended schools.

On March 16, 1962, she married Dan Isbell. She was a member of Emmanuelle Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star at Waukomis.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Brenda Cole of Waukomis and Melinda Burgess of Enid; four brothers, Jay Morrison of Enid, Harold Morrison of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Dwight Morrison of Rock Away Beach, Missouri, and Don Morrison of Bullhead City, Arizona; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by one son.
