Waukomis Cemetery


Rogers, Arkansas – The graveside service for Gertrude M. Isbell, 103, who died Monday, October 26, at a Rogers nursing home, will be at 2 PM today at the Waukomis Cemetery, directed by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

Isbell was born December 11, 1988, in Meade County, Kansas, to Balsar and Barbara Hild Siebenthalor. She and her parents were early pioneers of Oklahoma Territory and were in the Cherokee Strip land run. She was a retired telephone operator and secretary and affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Everett C. Jr.oOf Los Angeles; three daughters, Barbara H. Ives of Rogers, Enid C. Pepperd of Gunnison, Colorado, and Donna B. West of Wichita, Kansas; 12 grandchildren; 24 great – grandchildren and two great – great – grandchildren.
