Waukomis Cemetery



January 17, 1832 - March 2, 1922

Mrs. Mary Hromas died Thursday evening, March 2, at the home of her son, Frank Hromas, in Waukomis. Mrs. Hromas was born in Bohemia, January 17, 1832, making her past 90 years of age at the time of her death.

Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Allison of the Methodist Church in charge, and burial made in the Waukomis Cemetery.

Mrs. Hromas was the mother of seven children, four of whom are now living: Frank Hromas, Anton Hromas and Mrs. Mary Semrad of Waukomis, and Joe Hromas of Custer County, Nebraska, all of whom were here to attend the funeral services.

Deceased came to America in 1886 and to Oklahoma in 1895 and for the past four or five years had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hromas and family.
