Waukomis Cemetery



Mary Hromass, 87, a resident of the Waukomis community for over half a century, passed away at her home Sunday night, March 15.

Recitation of the Rosary was held in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel Monday evening at 8 PM.

Services were held at 10 AM on Tuesday in the Chapel, with Msgr. Steven A. Leven officiating. Interment was made in the Waukomis Cemetery.

A native of Czechoslovakia, she came to this country at the age of three years. Her parents located at Weston, Nebraska, and moved to Waukomis community in 1894.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. James Hromas, Waukomis; Mrs. Rudolph Taborsky, Bison; Mrs. Frank Gabriel, Hennessey, and Mrs. Albert Fuksa, Hennessey, and two brothers, Antonne Moravec, Waukomis, and Frank Moravec, Brainard, Nebraska.
