Ernest John HORSTMAN

Waukomis Cemetery

May 11, 1919 - February 23, 1920

Ernest John Horstman, son of John and Mary Horstman, was born May 11, 1919, and departed from this life February 23, 1920, at the parental home at 12 AM, aged one year, nine months and 21 days. Home is made desolate by the departure of this little life. Only parents who have laid some of their own little ones away know the meaning and can fully extend their sympathy and love to this father and mother. How Little Lorine will miss her darling no one can tell, but the God who gives and takes will provide the needed strength to bear up under the severe trial.

This total bud must not blossom here,
Heaven needs his shining face,
We part with it with many a tear,
But it dwells in an Angel's place.

Ernest leaves a father, mother and one sister to mourn his loss.
