Waukomis Cemetery


ENID - Memorial service for Dorothy Mae Eifert Hiddleston, 83, Waxahachie, Texas, will be 1 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Bethany United Methodist Church in Enid. Graveside service will follow in Waukomis Cemetery . Arrangements are by North Texas Funerals and Cremations.

She was born Dec. 5, 1926, in Waukomis to Adolph and Viola Eifert and died Feb. 17, 2010.

She graduated from Enid Business College and attended Oklahoma State University. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie since 2002. She had been employed as a secretary for Garfield County Extension Agency and was a housewife.

In Waxahachie, she was a member of Christian Women's Association, Century Club, Fidelis Sunday School Class, Bible study, Widowers Group and Gingerbread Red Hatters. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.M. "Bill" Hiddleston. They were married 53 years and lived in Oklahoma, Texas and Panama City, Fla.

Surviving are one daughter, Rita Irwin; two sons, R. Bruce Hiddleston of Oklahoma City and David Hiddleston of Midlothian, Texas; one sister, Helen Louie Burgert of Rochester, Minn.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
