A service to celebrate the life of Elnora Harris will be held 10 a.m. Friday April 27, 2012 at Emmanuel Baptist Church Enid with Pastor Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ladusau Evans Funeral Home. Elnora Faye Dick Harris was born September 23, 1925 in the Pioneer Community to Finus Orlo and Myrtle Louisa (Robinson) Dick and died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Enid, Oklahoma. She grew up in the Pioneer Community and graduated from Pioneer High School. On December 16, 1946 she married David Emerson Harris. To this union were born two children: Barbara Jane and Mark Lee.

She was an active member of Pleasant Valley Christian Union Church for most of her life, where for many years she taught Children's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. At the time of her death she was a member of Victory Bible Church Enid.

One of the greatest gifts she gave to her son and daughter was the love of reading. Her four grandchildren were the light of her life. Her greatest joy was spending time with them. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Emerson; two brothers; Dwight and Vernon; one sister, Donna Loesch; and one granddaughter Holly Harris. Surviving her are her sister, Edna Carroll, of Columbus, IN; her son Mark Harris, Collierville, TN; Barbara Ebert and her husband Jerry of Hennessey, OK; two granddaughters, Leslie Cooper, of Choctaw, OK and Susan Ebert and her husband Steven Stark of Oklahoma City; Brett Harris, of Nashville, TN; four great grandsons, Dax Cooper and Deven Cooper of Choctaw; and Severin Stark and Wolfgang Stark of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces and nephews who fondly refer to her as "Aunt Nora."

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the charity of the donor's choice.
