OBITUARY
Susie Cagle was born in Mississippi Co., Mo., October 31, 1871, and after a lingering illness during which time she suffered intensely, died at her home 1-2 miles east of Barr, Okla., September 6th, 1907. In 1891 in Kingman Co., Kas., she was married to John A. Gregg. Three years ago, during the pastorate of Rev. J.F. Reeves, she united with the U.B. Church at Barr. Besides a sorrowing husband and five children, she leaves five sisters, two brothers, an aged father and mother, and a large circle of friends to mourn her early departure. The funeral services under the direction of the mutual Protective League of which lodge the deceased was a member, was held in the Barr church, Mrs. King preaching the sermon. A large procession followed the remains to the Waukomis cemetery. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the entire community.
