Guthrie – The funeral for Lula Vivian Gray, 83, who died Wednesday, December 25, 1985 at the Masonic Home For The Aged in Guthrie, will be 10 AM Friday at Davis Funeral Home Chapel there. The Rev. Darrel Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at the Waukomis Cemetery in Waukomis.

Mrs. Gray was born September 14, 1902, in Missouri to Henry and Louise Peiffer. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Crescent, the Order of Eastern Star and the Rebekah's. She had lived in Guthrie the past year, moving there from Crescent where she had lived since 1939. She and Percy Gray were married March 23, 1923, in Enid.

Survivors include her husband, Percy; three sons, Kenneth Gray, Lovell, Jack Gray, Choctaw, and Don Gray, Houston, Texas; a brother, Frank Peiffer, Langley; seven grandchildren; and four great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

The casket will be open until 9:30 AM Friday and remain closed after the service.

Guthrie – the funeral for Percy Harold Gray, 89, who died Friday in the Logan County Health Center, will be at 2 PM Monday at Davis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darrel gray officiating. Burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery.

Born January 12, 1898, at New Hampton, Iowa, to Frank and Myrtle Gray, he was a retired farmer. He lived in Crescent and had lived in Guthrie. On March 24, 1923, he married Lula Vivian Peiffer at Enid. She died December 25, 1985.

He was a member of the Crescent First Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are three sons, Kenneth of Lovell, Jack of Choctaw, and Don of Houston; two brothers, Paul of Clifton, Colorado, and Darrell of Kerrville, Texas; three sisters, Glenda Hallbrook of Austin, Texas, Gladys James of Wichita, Kansas, and Ethmer Kordis of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

The casket will be open at the funeral home until 1 PM Monday and closed after the service.
