A shadow of sorrow passed over this entire community when word came of the death of a Will Glendenning(sic). He had been ill for five days with pneumonia. He passed away early Sunday, January 2, 1933.

Bill, as everyone called him, had spent his life in Waukomis, and was loved by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn his going his wife, mother, brothers and sisters and many friends. We join with the community in offering our deepest sympathy.

The funeral was held at the Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30.
