Funeral service for Billy D. Fluman, 82, of Waukomis, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Waukomis United Methodist Church, with Rev. Garry Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. today, Dec. 3, at the funeral home. Bill was born April 18, 1931, in Enid, Okla., and passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at his home in Waukomis. Bill lived in the Drummond and Waukomis area, attending Happy Valley School through grade school. He attended and graduated from Waukomis High School. Upon graduating from school, he married the love of his life, Jane Ann Miller, on Sept. 15, 1950, in Waukomis. They lived on the Eifert farm before moving to Waukomis, where they still live.

At 6 years of age, Bill and his brother, John, were adopted by Walter and Laverne Eifert.

Bill’s family included his wife, one son and two daughters. His son, Dan Fluman, and son-in-law, Randy Fagan, were killed in an accident on Aug. 18, 1983, in Waukomis.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jane of the home; daughters, Debra Ann Landwehr and husband Stuart of Waukomis, and Pamela Sue Fagan and husband Tim of Enid; daughter-in-law, Cindy and husband Brian Fuksa of Enid; grandchildren, Todd and wife Shannon Landwehr, Becky and Justin Robinette, Chris and wife Heather Fagan, Michael and Emily Fagan, Sarah and Ryan Rhuems, Megan and Danny Correa, Colter and Jennifer Fluman, Addie Fuksa and Shane Poplin; and seven great-grandchildren, Sydnie, Blake, Morgan, Paige, Hannah, Corbin and Aydan.

Bill was a member of United Methodist Church in Waukomis, where he enjoyed doing mission ministry and lay ministry. He and his wife went to several different countries on 18 VIM mission projects.

His joys were hunting, fishing and traveling to the mountains in Colorado and New Mexico.

Bill worked his life as a farmer and for Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. for more than 30 years.

Bill’s life journey has been very good and rewarding. God’s plan for his life was filled with many friends and joys.

Bill was preceded in death by his maternal mother and father, Walter and Laverne Eifert; a son, Dan Fluman; and two brothers, John and Jerry Fluman.

Memorials may be made to Waukomis United Methodist Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

A Celebration of Life service for Jane Ann Fluman, 86, of Waukomis, is 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Waukomis United Methodist Church, with Rev. Kris Mayberry officiating. A family burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jane was born February 18, 1931, in Enid to Orian R. Miller, Sr. and Iva M. Atterbury, and passed away Monday, November 20, 2017, in The Commons. She attended and graduated from Waukomis High School in 1949. She married Bill Don Fluman on September 15, 1950 in the Waukomis United Methodist Church and Bill passed away December 1, 2014. To this union three children were born, Debbie, Pamela, and Dan. She was a very active member in the Waukomis United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of WUMC Women. Bill and Jane volunteered in the Volunteer in Mission program through the church for many years after they retired. Jane worked for FarGas Coop and later for Enid News and Eagle, retiring after several years.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Debra Ann Landwehr and husband Stuart of Waukomis, and Pamela Sue Fagan and husband Tim of Enid, and daughter-in-law Cindy and husband Brian Fuksa of Enid; grandchildren, Todd and Shannon Landwehr, Becky and Justin Robinette, Chris and Heather Fagan, Michael and Emily Fagan, Sarah and Ryan Rhumes, Colter and Jennifer Fluman, Megan and Danny Correa, and Addie Fuksa and Shane Poplin; 12 great-grandchildren, Sydnie, Blake, Morgan, Paige, Hannah, Corbin, Aydan, Haizlee, Cooper, Denver, Caleb, and Bennett; sister Emma Lou Irvine of Beaumont, TX.

She was preceded in death by her son Dan Fluman and brother Russell Miller, Jr.

Memorials may be made to Waukomis United Methodist Church or Hospice Circle of Love, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
