Jess, Grandpa, Big Papa, Fletchall, met his Lord & Savior Dec. 12, 2015, after a lengthy illness.

He was born Dec. 5, 1938, in Grant City, Mo., to Roland & Agnes Fletchall. In 1956, he moved to Enid, where he met and married his wife, Ruth Ann Rogers on July 9, 1957. They were blessed with four children, Jim, Jay, Shari and Jere. He began his career in industrial bearing sales and moved to Yukon in 1979. Jess loved motorcycles, fishing, stock car racing, but was passionate about golf and his woodworking. He was an active member at Town & Country Christian Church, having served as a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister and his son Jere. He is survived by wife Ruth Ann; sons, Jim (Debbie) Fletchall and Jay (Layce) Fletchall; daughter Shari (Jack) Benson; brothers, Rex, Charles and Dewayne Fletchall; sister Phyllis Olszewski; grandchildren, Richelle, Terri, Jake, Aaron, Sarah, Ashlea, Jessica, Jeremiah, Selena, Tracy and Breanna; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Brad Carter and his staff for their care during these past two months.

Viewing will be held 1-8 p.m. today, Dec. 15, 2015, with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at Town & Country Christian Church, Yukon. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Waukomis Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Fletchall family in care of Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, Okla.

August 26, 1939 - October 22, 2019

Ruth Ann Fletchall, Grandma, "Big Grandma," met her Lord and Savior on Oct. 22, 2019. She was born Aug. 26,1939, in Douglas, Okla., to Herman and Edna Rogers.

In 1957, she married Jess Fletchall, and they were blessed with four children: Jim, Jay, Shari and Jere.

Moving to Yukon in 1979, they became active in Town & Country Christian Church, where she played the piano, was a member of Women for Jesus and was a charter member of the Patio Gang.

Ruth Ann worked for the FAA and was also a medical transcriptionist. In addition to the love and dedication she had for her family and raising her children, she also enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, sewing, cross-stitch, and playing board games, especially Scrabble.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse; son, Jere; parents, Herman and Edna Rogers; and brother, Richard Rogers.

Ruth Ann is survived by her sons, Jim Fletchall and wife Deb and Jay Fletchall and wife Layce; daughter, Shari Benson and husband Jack; grandchildren, Richelle Barnes, Jake, Terri and Aaron Fletchall, Sarah Moore, Tracy Smithart, Ashlea Robinson, Selena Callins, Jeremiah Benson, Jessica Melendy and Breanna Barrett; 32 great-grandchildren; brother, Bruce Rogers, and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Town & Country Christian Church, 2200 S. Cornwell Dr., Yukon, Okla., with interment following at 5 p.m. at Waukomis Cemetery, Waukomis, Okla.

Memorial donations may be made to Town & Country Christian Church, Kitchen Building Fund, 2200 S. Cornwell Dr., Yukon, OK 73099.
