Jerod Quinton Dow
February 24, 1984 - December 9, 2022

A celebration of life will be held for Jerod Quinton Dow at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with his lifetime pastor, Rev. Tommy Donaldson, officiating. Jerod's final resting place will be in the Waukomis Cemetery immediately following.

Jerod was born February 24th, 1984, in Enid and passed away on December 9th, 2022. He grew up East of Enid attending Pioneer Pleasant Vale School. At an early age he developed a love for the family business of Custom Combining. He and his brother joined in and became the 4th generation to travel the United States cutting wheat for others. That same passion rubbed off into his love of preparing and showing cattle. Through this he met a variety of people and made friendships that lasted a lifetime. He mentored the best in the business and learned the fine art of "fitting". He helped get ready some of the top cattle in the Country. His most proud moment was winning Reserve Grand Champion Steer at the American Royal Livestock Show in 2003. Jerod was also active in his FFA Chapter in Waukomis, serving as President his senior year. Through those 4 years he won many local, state and national awards. He also played center for the Pioneer Mustangs football team, winning several state championships.

Eventually Jerod helped with the family farms and cattle operations.

Jerod is survived by his parents, Ron Dow and Deena and Rodney Timm; his brother, Ronny and Sara Dow, and his three very special nephews, Jagger, Jeron, and Jagen; along with his grandparents, Hershel and Karen Timm; numerous aunts and uncles, Marla, Mike Teresa, Kenny, Richard and Jack; as well as many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Katherine Dow and Leroy and Shirley Benda, and his uncle, Robie, with whom he shared birthdays.

Memorials can be made to Chisholm FFA, with Ladusau-Evans as custodian of the funds. Online condolences can be made at www.ladusauevans.com.
