September 9, 1975 - January 1, 2025
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 10:00 am in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery next to his grandparents. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Michael John DeLier II was born on September 9, 1975, and passed away on January 1, 2025. He was born in Oklahoma City to Michael and Kari DeLier and started Christ the King Grade School in 1981. The family then moved to Enid, Oklahoma, where he finished grade school, then to Dallas where he attended St. Rita Catholic School and Dallas Jesuit Prep School. He graduated in 1994 from Alamo Catholic High School in Amarillo, Tx., where he was an all-state golfer and basketball player. Michael went to Texas Tech University and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He made many good life-long friends at Texas Tech and graduated in 1999. Michael has lived in Dallas for 25 years, and is the owner of Pecos Holdings, a private equity firm, dealing with oil and gas and commercial real estate.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Claire Pitman and Jacques and Barbara DeLier.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Kari DeLier, his brother, Matthew DeLier, sister, Katy Webb, brother-in-law, George Webb, nieces, Emma and Ellie DeLier and Makenzie Webb, and nephew, Wyatt Webb. He loved his nieces and nephews! He is also survived by his girlfriend of many years, Elizabeth Caminiti. Michael leaves behind so many friends and loved ones who will miss his fun, gregarious personality and caring nature.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude or Our Daily Bread in Enid, Oklahoma, or another charity of your choice.
