Waukomis Cemetery


WAUKOMIS - The funeral service for Virginia "Sue" Cain will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery . Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Sue was born April 19, 1951, in Enid, Okla., to Lewis and Mary Cain and passed away after a sudden illness on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.

She graduated from Enid High School in 1969 and achieved her masters in education from Phillips University, Enid, Okla. She began her career in Bristow, Okla., in 2000 and then went to further her career at Westmoore High School in Moore, Okla., as a special education teacher.

Survivors include her children, Kaecia M. West and husband Jack of Moore, Okla., Dustin J. Luckert of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Lexy R. Van Fossen and husband Kevin of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brothers, Frank Cain and wife Gayla, Jim Cain and wife Liz of Waukomis; special partner, Von; and grandchildren, Destinie, Patience, Landan, Teagan, Colton, Konner, Noah and Avari.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stevie Cain; and daughter, Melissa Newman.

She was dearly loved by her friends, family and students. She will be greatly missed. There will be a time to gather at Waukomis Methodist Church after the service.
