The funeral service for Donnie G. Buller will be Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015 at 11:00a.m.in the Henniger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery; Chaplain Butch Phillips will officiate. Donnie was born February 7, 1948 in Enid to A.J. and Wilma (Foote) Buller and died Friday, December 18, 2015 in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He attended Enid schools and then enlisted in the United States Army in 1966. He fought in the Vietnam War, serving three tours of duty. On December 12, 1971 he married Judith Wilson in Enid. The couple was stationed at Ft. Sill, OK until his retirement in 1986 at which time they returned to Enid. Donnie worked for the Garfield County Jail, James Crabtree Correctional Facility and then retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1997.

He was of Baptist Faith. He was a member of the American Legion, Am Vets and Cimarron Gill Rippers Bass club out of Stillwater, OK. He loved fishing Bass tournaments with his lifetime fishing partner, Gerald Plaster, going to auto auctions with Butch Phillips, traveling the state and going to Casino’s with his wife. His favorite activity was doing anything with his Grandchildren and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Judith of the home, four children, Mindy Smith and husband Justin, Amy Hudson and husband Rocky, Cory Buller and wife Amber, and Casey Buller and spouse Amber Wilson. Eleven Grandchildren, Hayley, Ashby, Lacey, Hannah, Kiersten, Koby, Kelci, Noah, Ashten, Blake and Korbin. Two great-grandchildren, Blake and Jaxson. Three brothers; Glen Raymond “Butch” McCullough, Alfred “Puddy” & Carmen Buller and Jerry & Jana Buller. Two sisters, Julia & Bruce Nixon and Sherry & Kenny Fischer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and one brother Virgil.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, “Go Fishing.”
