Waukomis Cemetery


ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Gael Dean Bohn, 77, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. today, March 18, 2014, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Jones officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted by Masonic Lodge 554. A private family burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born Dec. 26, 1936, to Frank and Mable Suenram Bohn in Ames, Okla., and passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Enid.

Gael married Cecillia Noland on Sept. 18, 1960, in Waukomis.

He served in the United States Army Reserve from 1955 to 1967.

Gael worked for PIE Trucking for many years, then as a truck driver for Wichita Southeast Truck lines until retirement.

Gael was a member of Willow Road Christian Church and was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of the Ringwood Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cecillia; brother, Willard of Enid; sister, Myretta Walker of McKinney, Texas; sister-in-law, Eula Mae Wallace; a special niece and nephew, Cheryl (Steve) Briggs of Enid, and Ron Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother, Ira, in 2005.

A special thanks to the caring staff of Golden Oaks Skilled Nursing and Ross Home Health Hospice for their care during his stay.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be made to Golden Oaks Skilled Nursing or Ross Home Health Hospice with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
