Martha Jane Blair
10-1909
Submitted by: Jo Aguirre

Died, October 4, 1909, near Drummond, Garfield County, Oklahoma, Mrs. Martha Jane Blair, wife of John F. Blair. Mrs. Blair, nee Crosson, was born in Dayton, Ohio in the year 1857 and was married to John Blair on March 15, 1872 at Rosendale, Wisconsin. This union was blessed with eight children, five boys and three girls, three of whom preceded their mother in death and five surviving her to mourn her untimely departure.

All the children and her husband were at her bedside when the cold icy hand of death removed her from this time to eternity.

The departed was formerly a member of the M. E. Church. Rev. G. F. Liening conducted the funeral services. Interment was made in Waukomis Cemetery.

Card of Thanks

The family of Mr. John Blair desires to express their hearty thanks to all the friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted them during the long illness of Mrs. Blair and in their sad bereavement.

John Blair and family.
