Waukomis Cemetery


Waukomis – The funeral for Anna M. Atherton, 77, will be at 2 PM Friday at the Waukomis Christian Church. The Rev. Randy Mark Miles will officiate. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home, Enid.

She was born August 5, 1917, near Waukomis to Jerry and Anna Kokojan Pospisil and died Tuesday, January 31, 1995, at her home in Waukomis after a lengthy illness. She attended Waukomis schools, graduating in 1935.

On February 25, 1937, she married Milton M. Atherton at Waukomis. She was a member of the Waukomis Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Murle J. of Houston, Texas; one brother, Stanley Pospisil of Enid; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church.
