A Celebration of Life for Brok Patrick Griffin, 16, of Enid, is 2:30 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church in Enid. Reverend Craig Bruyn will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Lahoma, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Brok was born July 27, 1999 in Enid to Patrick Griffin and Kasey (Brakhage) Griffin and passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Brok was diagnosed with Ring 9 Rare Chromosome Abnormality at birth. With all of his health problems he surpassed all the doctors’ expectations. Even with his limitations, Brok lived life to the fullest. He was the best hugger and had a hug for everyone, no matter who it was. His favorite things in life were eating good food, listening to loud music, and being on the go! He loved his little sister Megan. She was always kind and patient with her brother, knowing that his needs came first. She will miss him greatly.

Brok was always excited to see “his ladies”, the nurses who took such wonderful care of him throughout his life. They loved him and enjoyed spoiling him as if he were their own. The family can’t express their gratitude enough to those special people.

He is preceded in death by his papa, Patrick Griffin, Sr., his uncle Gentry Brakhage, and his gracious grandma Rosella Brakhage.

Brok is survived by his parents, Patrick and Kasey of the home in Enid; his sister Megan; his Grammie, Patricia Griffin, of Enid; his Grandpa Gerald Brakhage, of Lahoma; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorials in Brok’s name to the Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
