Brenda Jane Diener
July 26, 1951 - October 21, 2021

Brenda was born July, 26, 1951 to Monte and Maxyne (Corbett) Diener in Enid, OK and passed away suddenly at her home October 21, 2021 in Derby, KS. Brenda attended Enid Schools and graduated in 1969 from Enid High School. In 1973 she received a Business Education Degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK where she was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. Brenda later received a Masters degree in Counseling from Wichita State University. Brenda started her teaching career in Fowler, KS and she also taught business and computer classes at Mulvane High School for a total of thirty years, retiring in 2006.

Brenda is survived by:
Children-James "Sanders" Diener of the home. April (Darie'n) Tomlin of Derby, KS; Laura Hutchens of Marshalltown, IA; Charlotte (Kenneth) Shippers of Tonkawa, OK and Felicia Diener of Wichita, KS, along with ten grandchildren. Brenda is also survived by her brothers; Scott Diener of Oneroa, NZ, Dennis (Karen) of Stillwater, OK and Nick (Susan) of Columbia, SC. Nephews; Chris (Jennifer) Diener of Enid, OK, Brian (Amy) Diener, Tulsa, OK and Dustin Diener of Ft. Worth, TX. Brenda also will be missed by her beloved dogs Max and Kimba.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Maxyne Yell, and her Father Monte Diener, along with her oldest brother Ronne Diener and granddaughter Serenity Diener.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Reverend Russ Anderson Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 South Central, Mulvane, KS 67110.

A Graveside Service will be conducted by Darin Mabe at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Lahoma, OK at 3 pm.
