Paradise Cemetery Obits

The funeral for Emanuel J. Maly, 78, Enid, is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Gary Miller will officiate. Burial follows in Paradise Cemetery, Breckinridge.

Emanuel was born Dec. 15, 1938, in Breckinridge and died Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, in St. Mary's Hospital. He attended a one-room schoolhouse through the 8th grade and then attended Garber schools, graduating with the class of 1957. On Dec. 19, 1959, he married Deloris Chapman in her parents' house in Enid. The couple met while both working at Marquis Studio. They lived in Enid for a few years before returning to live on his family farm. He attended Central Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife Deloris of the home, three children, daughter Deanna Carson (Jerry) of Garber, sons, Stephen Maly (AnnaBess) of Oklahoma City, and Daniel Maly (Janice) of Edmond, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren two brothers, George and Miles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his beloved dog, "Molly."

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers, and two great-grandchildren.
