Paradise Cemetery


The funeral for Ola Mae Hall, 84, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garber First Baptist Church. The Revs. Tom LeGrand and Glenn Peck will officiate. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery, Breckinridge. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

She was born Jan. 13, 1924, in Hulen to Jake and Maude Lee Roof and died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Enid.

She graduated from Empire High School in 1941. She married John E. Hall Jan. 31, 1947, in Lawton. She was a military wife and homemaker. After moving to Garber, she was the head cook for Country Kitchen for 13 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Garber.

Surviving are her children, Quanah Hall, John Hall, Cheryn Birkle, Jacob Hall, Audrey Martens and Eddie Hall, all of Enid, Marion Hall of Irving, Texas, and Maudie Chartier of Garber; 34 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, one grandson, one great-granddaughter and two brothers.
