The services celebrating and honoring the life of Neva J. McGill, 82, of Enid, will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday November 5, 2021, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Stanton officiating. Burial will follow in the Paradise cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Neva was born August 1, 1939, to Charles Everett Young and Elizabeth Snodgrass in Maud, Oklahoma and passed from this life November 1, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Bowlegs, Oklahoma graduating from Bowlegs High School. She attended college in Wolfe, Oklahoma briefly. She married the love of her life Frank H. McGill June 6, 1956. The couple lived in Seminole, Oklahoma and Oneonta, Alabama. The family moved to Enid in 1966. In 1970 she began working for the Enid State school starting as an attendant, C.N.A., C.M.A., and retiring as a supervisor in October of 1997. She was member of the Maine Church of the Nazarene. She was an avid reader, enjoyed following her family and friends on Facebook, watching her television shows, listening to country music, cooking, and especially shopping; she loved to have large gatherings and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Danks, of Enid, Lysetta Powell, of Ponca City, and Levena Bliss, of Enid, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank McGill, daughter Melinda Winkelman, three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her parents and siblings.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Pulmonary division with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
