WAYNE ‘WOODY’ WOODSON
The funeral for Wayne “Woody” Woodson, 87, of Douglas will be 10 a.m. Friday in Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Donaldson will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born May 18, 1918, at Douglas to Ray and Winnie Carroll Woodson and died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005. He was a farmer all his life. He worked for Cummins Construction and sold insurance for Farmers Union.

Surviving are his wife, Marianne of the home; his children, Denise Krausse of Adair, Deanne Woodson Sperry of Tecumseh, Dorene Ruth of Valley Center, Kan., and Don Woodson of Douglas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the charity of one’s choice.
