Paulina Yevette "Polly" [Skarky] Woodruff
December 5, 1910 ~ October 7, 2006


Funeral service for Paulina “Polly” Yevette Sharky Woodruff, 95, of Enid will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev Don Johnson and Shorty Unruh officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born on a farm southeast of Hunter, December 5, 1910, to Frank and Mary Jech Sharky and passed away October 7, 2006.

She graduated from Hunter High School in 1928. Later graduating from Hills Business School in Oklahoma City.

She married Lee Ward Woodruff September 6, 1936, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. They made their home in Enid. While he was in the service she worked at Evans Drug. After his retirement they traveled all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and to Czechoslovakia with the Polka Club. She and he danced the polka at every opportunity.

In later years she resided at Golden Oaks Nursing Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lee; parents; two sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Margaret Woodruff Merryman and sister-in-law, Verona Sharky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Central Christians Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.
