© Anderson~Burris Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma February 2016 September 4, 1922 ~ February 7, 2016 A Celebration of Life Service for Dale Oliver Wilson, age 93, will be at 2:00 P.M., February 12, 2015, at New Hope Methodist Church, with Rev Diana Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with family will be Thursday evening 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Dale O. Wilson, affectionately nicknamed "Papa Toad" by his grandchildren, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2016. Dale was born to Emery E. and Mary Jane [Parrett] Wilson on September 4, 1922, on the family farm near Medford, Oklahoma. Dale attended Medford Public Schools, graduating in 1940, and on September 29, 1942, he joined the Army Air Corp at Vance Air Base. On April 6, 1946, he married Georgia Daniels in Olney, Illinois. They made their home in the Medford area until Dale went to work in 1956 for the Champlin Loading Rack in Del City, Oklahoma. In 1957, they moved to Enid, and Dale continued to work for the Champlin Refinery until it closed in 1984. He was a faithful founding member of New Hope United Methodist Church and humbly served the Lord through his involvement in the Builders Class, United Methodist Men's group and building committee. Dale was instrumental in the building of the current New Hope Church. He was a member of OCAW, AFI-CIO Union, and Coffeemate Camping Group. Papa Toad loved spending time with his family and working in his “Sawdust Factory”, where he skillfully made inlaid wood chess tables. He especially enjoyed demonstrating the art of rope making to hundreds of school and church children with his father’s treasured antique rope maker. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia, his parents, and two brothers, Kenneth Wilson and William Joe Wilson. He is survived by his two children: Joyce [Dan] Fales of Enid, and Jim Wilson of Kremlin; three grandchildren, Robin Bailey of Irving, Texas, Robert Bailey of Edmond, and Brandi [Ricky] Ehardt of North Enid; and five great-grandchildren: Angela Johnson, Naomi Bailey, and Jordan Bailey of Spokane Valley, Washington, and Abigail and William Ehardt of North Enid. © Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma February 2018 August 5, 1925 ~ February 24, 2018 A Celebration of Life for Veta Pauline [Ross] Wilson is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Kwan Young Kim officiating. Inurnment of the ashes of Veta and Louis Wilson will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Veta Pauline Ross Wilson, 92, went to her eternal rest on February 24, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas. Veta Pauline Ross was born on August 5, 1925, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, to Murdo and Pauline Davis Ross. They had gone to Canada to help family harvest wheat. She attended Enid Schools. She played accordion and is in a picture of the Chenoweth and Green accordion band with her sister, cousin and future sister-in-law at the Enid Event Center. She married Louis O'Neal Wilson on February 8, 1943, at the Garfield County Courthouse. He went overseas and she went to work in the motor pool at Vance Air Force Base. She transported troops and drove a colonel to evaluate restaurants. After World War II, they made their home in Enid. They had four sons: Stephen M. Wilson, Donald O. Wilson, Richard E. Wilson and David R. Wilson. Veta invested her life in the care of her family. She was the ultimate hostess and loved cooking, baking, crafting, sewing, quilting, knitting, tole/oil painting and refinishing furniture. She was a member of Bethany UMC, the Gamma Study Club, extension homemaker club and a bridge club. She and Louis enjoyed supporting family, owning a business, square dancing, traveling, and being active members of Bethany UMC. Veta is survived by her sons and spouses, Stephen and Marilyn Wilson of Enid, Donald and Debbie Wilson of San Antonio, TX, Richard and LaDonna Wilson of Coweta; and David and Tammy Wilson of Adolphus, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; caregiver, Donna Gonzalez and dear friend, Doris Eifert. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 74 ½ years, her parents, sister, Jean Doerschlag, sister-in-law, LaVeta Wilson, and brothers-in-law, Leonard Schenck, Walt Doerschlag, James Wilson, and Leroy Roever; and special friends, Margie Kiely and Leila Cumpston. © Henninger Hinson Funeral Home Garfield County, OK April 2010 August 7, 1927 ~ April 26, 2010 ENID - Katherine Bowyer Callas Wilson was born August 7, 1927, in Enid, to Evangelos James and Alice Ernestine [Bowyer] Callas and passed away Monday, April 26, 2010. She graduated from Enid High School in 1945. On March 4, 1948, she married James Elco Wilson. In 1957, Katherine and her father opened the Pioneer Grill in downtown Enid, which they proudly ran for five years. Then, in the fall of 1967, she obtained her real estate license and started her own business as "Katherine Wilson, Realtor." For 20 years, she proudly assisted the residents of Enid with their real estate needs. Katherine was very passionate about religion, business and politics. She served as past president of the American Business Women Association and Enid Association of Realtors, and she was very active in the Garfield County Republican Party. Among the many highlights of her life, Kartherine served as a "Dewey Doll" for Governor Dewey Bartlett in 1966 and proudly sat on stage with President George H.W. Bush in 1991 during a campaign stop in Enid. Katherine also was an active, lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Enid. Proud of her Greek heritage, Katherine was known to all as "YiaYia," which means grandmother in Greek. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; sister, Mary Helen [Callas] Maxwell; and an infant brother. Katherine is survived by two sons, Dennis Wilson and wife Vicki of Enid and Layton Wilson and wife Karen of Fairview, Tenn.; daughter, Debbie Wilson Caulk and husband Freddie of Hennessey; six grandchildren, Jason Wilson and wife Kim, Matt Wilson and wife Daneen, Sara [Caulk] Garrett and husband Greg, Ashley [Caulk] Ewbank and husband Drew, Jamie [Caulk] Moore and husband Brad, Hallie [Wilson] Morris and husband Mark; eight great-grandchildren; also, brother, Paul E. Callas; sister, Norma Ruth [Callas] Dodson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Miller officiating. Kenneth was born on April 15, 1930, in Canton, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Alberta [Pierce] Wilson and passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017, in Enid. Kenneth attended Longdale High School. He married Martha M. Sheets on September 9, 1951 in Fairview, Oklahoma. Kenneth served in the US Army and was stationed in Virginia for two years. He and Martha moved to Enid in 1956. Kenneth worked for Gold Spot Dairy and attended Central Assembly of God Church. He liked taking care of his yard and was a handy-man. Kenneth is survived by his wife Martha; children Cleta Ortiz and husband Joe of Caruthers, California, Barbara Escue of Kissimmee, Florida, Rusty Wilson and wife Tammy of Enid, and Janis Phillip of Enid; grandchildren Tracey Ortiz-Naney and husband Ryan and Nicholas Phillip; great grandchildren Noah, Liam and Adyn Escue. Enid, Oklahoma October 2019 October 5, 1947 ~ October 22, 2019 Rusty was born October 5, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Warren and Sarrina Wilson, and passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Enid. He married Donna Lee Cavin on July 20, 1968 in Liberal, Kansas. They had one son, Warren Wilson, III. He was the superintendent at Southgate Mall in Liberal, KS for many years. He was also a truck driver, and was very proud of his time in Iraq; serving alongside military servicemen and women and their allies as a contractor. He enjoyed many friendships while overseas. He and Donna moved to Enid in 1998 when their only granddaughter, Faith, was born. Rusty was also a Priest with the RLDS Church and married many of his family members, including his son and daughter-in-law. He continued to minister to groups and individuals until his passing. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Donna Lee Wilson. He is survived by his son, Warren Wilson, III and wife Becky, of Enid; granddaughter, Faith Ronistal and husband Stetson, of Enid; sister, Karen Price and husband Aubrey, of Ingleside, TX; brother, Ronald Wilson and wife Flor, of Red Oak, TX; brother, Arthur Wilson and wife Darla of Denver, CO; four sisters-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. |

Donna was born August 21, 1950 in Pratt, Kansas to Corwin and Thelma [Ward] Cavin, and passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Enid. She married Warren Wilson Jr on July 20, 1968 in Liberal, Kansas. They had one son, Warren Wilson, III. Donna ran an in-home daycare for many years and obtained many "adopted" children, many of whom she maintained contact with to this day. She was a dedicated homemaker; taking care of her family was her top priority. She was one of seven children, always taking time to connect with her siblings. She and Warren moved to Enid in 1998 when their only granddaughter, Faith, was born. Donna enjoyed all types of artful expression including painting, quilting, music, making stained glass, woodworking, singing and writing; but her greatest joy was her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Corwin and Louise Ward; two brothers, Joe Lester Cavin and Corwin "Butch" Grant Cavin; and niece, Jamie. She is survived by her husband, Warren "Rusty" Wilson, Jr. of the home in Enid; son Warren Wilson, III and wife Becky, of Enid; granddaughter, Faith Wilson, of Enid; four sisters, Jean Howell and husband Terrell, of Corpus Christi, TX; Suzan Byron, of Liberal, KS; Kathy Stephens, of Liberal, KS; Ann Porterfield and husband Gary, of Balko, OK; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jim Harvey officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Jimmy Wilson, son of Dale and Georgia Wilson was born October 12, 1951, in Enid, Oklahoma. He passed away peacefully at Golden Oaks Assisted Living Center, where he has lived the past few years, on May 18, 2020, at the age of 68. Jimmy attended Enid Public Schools, graduating in 1971. He enlisted in the Army as soon as he graduated. He liked to tell everyone that he got his draft notice right after he enlisted. He was stationed in Germany for a while. He loved to look at his watch and say Good Morning or Good Afternoon in German to you. After he returned to Enid, he went to work for The Western Company as a mechanic. Later he worked for Tommy Powell as a certified pipeline welder. Jimmy married Teresa Busby. To this union a daughter, Brandi Machelle [Wilson] Ehardt was born. He loved to tell everyone that he had another BMW when Brandi was born, after having a BMW motorcycle in Germany. He loved riding his Harley. He fulfilled his dream of riding his Harley to Sturgis, South Dakota to the Sturgis Bike Rally. Jimmy received a Traumatic Brain Injury after losing control of his Harley in 1986. He also faithfully attended his AA meetings and was very proud of his Sobriety Coins that he received each year of sobriety. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church in Enid. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Georgia Wilson. He is survived by a daughter, Brandi [Ricky] Ehardt of North Enid, sister Joyce [Dan] Fales of Enid. Grandchildren: Abby and Liam Ehardt of North Enid. Niece: Robin Bailey of Irving, TX and Nephew: Robert Bailey of Spokane, WA Jimmy's family would like to extend a special thank you to Golden Oaks Assisted Living Center for their special care of Jimmy.
