Graveside services for Russell LeRoy Willson, 59, Enid resident, will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ronald Lee Willson, II. officiating, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Russell was born on December 22, 1961 in Enid, the son of Ronald Lee Willson and Berneta Mae Tolle Willson, and passed away suddenly on August 24, 2021 in Enid.

He was raised in Enid, working as a truck driver, hauling mud. Russell married Marilyn Marie Hobbs in Enid, OK on August 8, 1987. They raised four children together. Russell enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing. He greatly enjoyed family time and spending time with his grandchildren.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Berneta and Ernest Edwards, and Ronald and Sue Willson. Three sisters; Bonnie Owens, Debbie Hubert, and Karen Webster; nephews, Phillip Sharp and Ronald Heath Willson.

He is survived by his wife Marie of 34 years; son, Nick Hobbs, daughters, Nichoal Hobbs and fiance Sam Edwards, and Crystal (Timmy) Ashenfelter; son, Russell (Theresa) Willson, II; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Rick (Kathy) Willson, and Ronald (Guyla) Willson; sisters, Cindy Rogers, Janet Wells, and Melody Willson Cauthon; numerous nieces and nephews and beloved pets, Blue, Sophie, Molly and Brandy.

Russell was greatly loved and will always be loved and missed by his family and friends. He will never be forgotten. One day we will meet again and ride off into the sunset.
