A graveside service for Evelyn Marie Williams, 74, will be 2 p.m. today, October 22, 2008 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev Terry Glaze will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Evelyn was born Jan. 10, 1934, in La Feria, Texas, to Andy and Verla Evelyn Strickland Fox and died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, in Enid, Okla. She attended Harlingen High School, Texas. She married Richard Williams June 21, 1951, in Harlingen, Texas. He preceded her in death Sept. 19, 2002. They moved to Enid in 1972 where she has resided since. She worked in food service in the Enid Public Schools and retired in 1994 from Bass Baptist Hospital.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Williams of Enid, Richard and wife Erma Williams of Enid, Cynthia Walker and husband Robert of Enid, Phyllis Ignacio of Southaven, Miss., Becky Thesman and husband Tim of Enid, Rebecca Williams of Wetumka, Ala., Sheila Dennis of Meridian, Okla., and Deborah Peano Dettimeyer of Enid; 27 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Elmer D (Sonny) Fox, William Andrew Fox and Jerry Don Fox; and two sisters, Shirley Junker and Patricia Underwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers.
