A Celebration of Life Service for JoAnn Wilkinson, 79, of Enid, will be Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Gordon Jantz will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

JoAnn entered Heaven's gates on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, September 4, 1938, to Lester and Mabel (Clark) Hart. She was united in marriage to George Wilkinson on May 8, 1959. They made their home in California. They were blessed with four children: Jeffrey, Sharon, Britt and Vicki. In 1969, they moved to Enid, Oklahoma. JoAnn worked at Oakwood Country Club as a receptionist for 25 years. She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her family was her greatest joy. She was passionate about caring for her family, cooking, singing, and dancing. JoAnn was a generous woman who helped others and loved to visit and reminisce of times past and present. She was a woman of faith who loved her Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her young son, Jeffrey; husband; parents, and a sister.

JoAnn is survived by three children, Sharon Gudan (Michael) of TN; Britt Wilkinson (Lori) of Enid; Vicki Hutcheson (Bobby) of Enid; sister, Lois Graves of Edmond; ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at The Commons, St. Mary's and Ross Hospice.

Memorials may be given through the funeral home to Ross Hospice or Alzheimer's Research Council.
