A memorial service for Virginia Maxine Starkey Wickham, 81, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Enid. will be 2 p.m Sat-urday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Susan Southall will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 1-2 p.m. at the church.

She was born April 30, 1926, in Augusta, Kan., to Vernon Crotty and Henrietta Mark Kilpatrick and died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, in Oklahoma City.

She graduated from Ellinwood (Kan.) High School, then attended Salt City Business College, Hutchinson, Kan. She worked for Union Equity until her retirement in 1988. She married Stanley Wickham Aug. 25, 1989, in Enid.

She was a member of ABWA, Desk and Derrick, National Secretarial Association and Christian Church of the Covenant prior to moving to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1990. She moved back to Enid in 2003 and was a member of First United Methodist Church. In 2004, she moved to Oklahoma City.

Surviving are one daughter, Judy Seymour of Oklahoma City; one son, Michael Cutting of Portland, Maine; one stepdaughter, Cheryl Boyer of Enid; one sister, Pat Rasmussen of Lincoln, Kan.; and four grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, Jesse Starkey and Stanley Wickham Sr., she was preceded in death by one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division.
