Bill was born December 27, 1936, to Robert and Ailene (Brown) White in Birmingham, Alabama, and passed from this life March 9, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised in Birmingham until the age of seven with his grandparents to whom he remained close to throughout his life. He moved to Astoria, Illinois, with his mother in 1943 where he continued his education. After high school he enlisted in The United States Marines January 15, 1956, and was discharged on January 15, 1960, after four years of honorable service to his country. He moved to Paducah, Kentucky, where he soon met his wife Elizabeth Rollins. The couple was married April 21, 1962, in Paducah, Kentucky, and from that union came two sons: Brian and Kevin. The family moved to Enid in 1975 where he began working for the Enid News and Eagle Union side of the newspaper as a Pressman until 1998. In 1998 he began working at Phillips Drug until their closing and his retirement in 2006.

He enjoyed baseball games at David Allen Memorial Ballpark and was a dedicated Chicago Cubs Fan. He was a member of the Emmanuel Enid Church where he was an Usher for over twenty years. Church played a very important role in his life.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years Elizabeth White, of the home; two sons, Brian and Robyn White, of Enid, and Kevin and Tricia White, of Yukon; one granddaughter, Brooke White, of Enid; and one sister, Kathy Street, of Paducah, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert White, his mother Ailene Wickert, step-father Donal Wickert, mother-in-law Kathleen Rollins and one sister, Amelia "Dede" Jenkins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in his honor to Toys for Tots, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
