January 27, 1965 - September 5, 2021

Funeral services for Lynn Neal West, 56-year-old Enid resident, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at Central Christian Church. Reverend Tom Stanley will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will be 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the funeral home.

Lynn arrived in this world January 27, 1965, in Enid, Oklahoma, to parents, Charles and Shirley (Schulz) West. On September 5, 2021, he passed away at his home in Enid.

In 1983, Lynn graduated from Pioneer High School. After going on to obtain a bachelor's degree from Phillips University, he went to work as an aircraft mechanic at Vance Air Force Base in November 1990. There, he continued his career for over thirty years.

On October 19, 2001, Lynn married Tamela in Enid, where they made their home. Family was very important to him as well as having a love for his country. He was a true River Rat.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles G. West.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Tamela, of the home; stepdaughter, Tabitha Rogers of Enid; granddaughter, Lillyanna Ward of Enid; mother, Shirley West of Enid; brother, Scott West and wife, Sharon of Enid; sister, Debbie Diehl and husband, Greg of Norman; niece, Courtney Keeling and husband, Nick of Oklahoma City; nephew, Blake Diehl of Norman; niece, Erin Diehl of Norman as well as numerous extended family.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Folds of Honor or Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Academic Foundation. Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home will act as custodian of the funds.
