The funeral for Maurine V. Weber, 86, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ron McCaslin will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 7, 1919, in Shawnee to Ira and Virgie Barron and died Thursday, June 22, 2006, in Enid.

She moved with her family from Shawnee to Kaw City, then to Enid. She attended Enid and Kaw City schools, Southwestern Bible College and took courses at Chicago School of Nursing and Enid Business College. While in Enid she worked as a nurse at General Hospital and Memorial Hospital.

She married Eldon L. Weber, Feb. 10, 1968. They lived on a farm near Fairmont. They later moved to Enid where they operated Weber’s Backhoe Service until they retired in 1993. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and Enid chapter of American Business Women’s Association.

Surviving are her husband, Eldon, of the home; a son, Clifton Chapman of Enid; three daughters, Norma Franke of Norman, Carolyn Bauman of Owasso and Sharon Pritchett of Enid; a stepdaughter, Donna Marlatt of Enid; her twin brother, Maurice Barron; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Ross Hospice of Enid.
