August 16, 1971 - September 10, 2021

A Celebration of Life for Debra Lyn Wright-Weber, age 50, of Enid, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Bible Baptist Church, with Reverend Terry Chick to officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Debra was born August 16, 1971, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, to James J. and Alice (McGinnis) Wright, and passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at home in Enid.

The daughter of a military family, she lived all over the United States and even in Woodbridge, England. The family came back to Enid when Debra was seven and starting the second grade. She graduated from Enid High School in 1989. She attended NOC in Tonkawa and Enid Beauty College, earning her Cosmetologist license.

She married Hank Weber in 1990, and they had a daughter, Alison, in 1992, and a son, Mason, in 1997. After the marriage ended in 2003, she met the love of her life, Greg Redding, and they celebrated 18 years together. She worked at Legend's Hair Salon for many years until Lupus caused her health to diminish, and she retired. She enjoyed traveling with Greg and her family to places like Florida and Alabama. She loved to arrange flowers, cruise the country roads, watch college and pro football, and keep up with the news.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Eva McGinnis, and paternal grandparents, James and Ruth Wright. She is survived by her husband Greg Redding, of the home in Enid; parents, James and Alice Wright, of Enid; two children, Alison Weber-Gibson and husband Drew, of Enid; Mason Weber, of Enid; two step-sons, Cooper and Cade Redding, of Helena, OK; four grandchildren, Ashlinn, Allie, A.J., and Axton, all of Enid; three brothers, Jim Wright and wife Janice, Leslie Wright, and Gary Wright, all of Oklahoma City; sister, Laurie Hines and husband Glen, of Enid; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and many friends.

Memorial contributions in Debra's name may be made to the Lupus Foundation of Oklahoma, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made, memories shared, and services viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
