Funeral service for Valda “Ma” Webb will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Val was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Leedey, Okla., to John and Artie Holmes and passed away, Monday, April 6, 2009.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church from 1952 to 1967 and First Baptist Church from 1967 to the present.

She retired from Vance Air Force Base as the civilian personnel director in 1979, after 27 years of service.

She is the mother of Dewey Williams of Dallas, Texas, Sue Winchester and husband Jim of Paris, Tenn., Debby Buller and husband David of Enid, and a stepdaughter, Bea Smith and husband Dick of Nebraska; a stepson, Tom Webb and wife Joyce of Edmond, Okla.; five grandchildren, Kristi Fossett and husband Ryan of Enid, Richard Hutchison of Oklahoma City, Trudy Solowey and husband Scott of Mayfield, Ky., Melissa DeSpain and husband Eric of Porter, Texas, and David Williams of Dallas, Texas; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and two granddaughters, Terri Winchester and Carrie Williams.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
