Memorial Park Cemetery


Faye Webb, 82 year old Woodward resident, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 in the Woodward Regional Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid with the Reverend Eric Cox officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ila Faye (Dunlap) Webb was born on January 1, 1929 in Coldwater, Kansas to James Haskell and Dora Jane (Elliott) Dunlap. Faye grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. She was united in marriage to Wayne Wilford Webb on October 18, 1946 in Enid, Oklahoma. They were blessed with two children, Dennis Wayne and Dru. They made their home in Enid before moving to Woodward in 1951. Faye was a housewife, but also worked as a Red Cross Swimming Teacher, was a manager at the S&H Green Stamp Store and the Receptionist at the North West Inn.

Faye was very involved with the VFW Women's Auxiliary and always helped at the telethon for Cerebral Palsy. She enjoyed swimming, camping, fishing, but most of all she loved being with her family.

She is survived by one daughter Dru Beard and husband John of Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren, Jeromy, Dustin, Darin, Heather, Stephanie and Johnny; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers Ron Dunlap of Lewisville, Texas, Bill Choate and wife Pam of Hydro; other relatives and many friends.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne Webb on January 31, 2008, her son Dennis Webb on October 28, 2008 and one brother Bob Choate
