The funeral service for Myrtle Marie Wasemiller, 92, of Enid, will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, in the Anderson - Burris Chapel with the Rev. Sheila Combes-Francis officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson - Burris Funeral Home . The casket will be open until service time on Sunday.

Myrtle was born Sept. 19, 1916, northwest of Freedom to H.W. and Bertha Schroeder and died on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, in Enid.

She was a very loving and giving person to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fabe, on Jan. 29, 1992, her parents, son-in-law, Roger, her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Chesson of Austin, Texas; one grandson and his wife, Bradley and Doree Chesson of Tacoma, Wash.; three precious great-grandsons, Alec, Wyatt and Travis Chesson of Tacoma; one sister-in-law, Georgia Schroeder of Gresham, Ore.; two half-sisters, Mary Howard and Virgie Brewer of Ulysses, Kan.; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to New Hope United Methodist Church.
