The funeral for Carla Jeannine Wasemiller, 79, formerly of Enid will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Lakeside Assembly of God Church, Oklahoma City. Burial will be 3 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home, Enid.

She was born Oct. 11, 1928, in Enid to John M. and Viola E. “Bobbie” Carver Chodrick and died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008.

She attended Enid High School. She married C. E. Johnny Wasemiller May 12, 1947. She was employed by Southwestern Bell. They moved to Stillwater while he attended college then moved to Ponca City and then to Oklahoma City. He died in 1993. She served as an officer in the Shrine Widows Club for five years. In 1987, she started working parttime as the office manager in her daughter’s medical office.

Surviving are her children, Wayne Wasemiller MD, and Lisa Wasemiller-Smith MD, both of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Sherryl Chodrick of Enid and Jerryl Chodrick of Norman; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, Johnny, she was preceded in death by one daughter and one grandson.
